Hi friends! I just love to watch a good film in English, and I’m sure you do too! Very soon we’ll be looking at the topic of films and cinema, and we’ll also watch a film in English during one of our classes. Before that, I’d like to know if you have any preferences or even suggestions as to what film or type of film to watch, and this blog is a great place to share our thoughts about this.What I’d like to ask you to do is to write a comment to this post saying what type of film you’d prefer to watch (a comedy? a thriller? a documentary? please click here to find a list of film genres). If there’s a specific film you are interested in watching, please say so too; if you like, you can also add a link to its IMDb entry.
Of course feel free to respond to what other students suggest (e.g. if someone suggests a film that you’ve already seen, or that you’d love to see again, or that you’d prefer not to watch because you think it’s lousy, then you can respond to them saying what you think).

The idea is very goog, Jesús.
I like romantic comedy, for example Pretty Woman or Fugitive girfriend ( Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are fantastic ), but I also like action movies, for example The Rock or ” Venganza ” and some dramatic movies, for example The name of the rose or Essence of Woman.
Actually, I enjoy waching a good movie.

I think that to watch a film during one of our classes is a fantastic idea too.
I’d prefer to watch a drama film because they are my favourites. But I remember a good suggestion you made it, Jesus, “Life of Brian”.It ‘s the funniest movie I’ve watched.

My favourite film’s genre is thriller and crime, I enjoy very much watching this films. Although I’m a person who love this films, I don’t mind watching another different films. Honestly, I prefer watching a film which I’ve seen before, so I can understand the dialogues more easily jijijj

I like the romantic comedy like Mari Loli and I also like drama film( I’ve seen ”Memories of Africa” 10 or 12 times already)
I also like to watch intriguing TV series like ”The small murders of Agatha Christie”.

I love the adventure films as Pirates of the Caribbean but I don’t mind seeing another film’s genre.
Personally, I would like that the film to have subtitles in English, please.

What a great idea! I love movies and I think is a good practise to watch original versions films with subtitles.
All your suggestions looks great. I like all type of movies but I choose it by it directors. Kubrick, Wilder, Coppola, Scorsese, De palma, Yates, Coen brothers are my favorites. I love documentaries too and animation films: Studio Ghibli or Pixar.
But I think it can be better for the people who never watch films in original version to watch a very famous film, whitch everybody watched it, or a british accent film or with british actors. I´m not sure that this can help.

I have always wanted to see a movie in English. although I think I’m only trained to see Pepa Pig.
I prefer Thriller or historical films, but I can like everything except horror movies.
